Judicial review of decision of Library and Archives of Canada (LAC) dated June 8, 2007, maintaining restrictions on access to Fonds Louis M. Bloomfield fund for five years, providing for possibility of limiting access to records protected by solicitor-client privilege for maximum of 50 years—Decision made further to judgment rendered by Noël J. ([2007] 4 F.C.R. 11 (F.C.)) allowing applicant’s previous application for judicial review and referring matter back to LAC for reconsideration of restrictions on access to Bloomfield fund—Both Library and Archives of Canada Act, S.C. 2004, c. 11, and Guidelines adopted thereunder indicating that balance must be struck between facilitating access to records, conditions of donation and other legitimate considerations—That is what was done in this case—Decision made by LAC reasonable and consistent with Act, Guidelines, and reasons given by Noël J.—Application dismissed.
